5kg of 200g Chlorine Tablets

Description

Bulk Quantity Swimming Pool Chemicals - NOT Suitable for spa use. Add Chlorine Tablets to your large floating dispenser, skimmer basket or automatic feeder to maintain the chlorine levels at 1-2 mg/litre (ppm). Do not place directly onto pool liners or pool surfaces as localised bleaching may occur. A fully dissolved 200g tablet will increase the chlorine level by approximately 1mg/litre per 100m3 pool water.

Raises pH level
Promotes bather comfort
The ideal pH levels are between 7.2-7.6, promoting bather comfort, optimum chemical efficiency and protection of Hot Tub equipment. Test the pH of your water, and if it is below 7.2, use pH plus to raise it.
Usage
Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10lts) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned on, preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution. After a minimum of 8 hours, recheck the pH level and if necessary repeat the treatment until the ideal pH is established. Please note a number of treatments may be required.

5kg Shock Granules

Description

Concentrated chlorine granules for shock dosing swimming pool water, to kill bacteria and breakdown organic contaminants. This strong granular oxidising product is ideal for when chlorine levels are high or when high chlorine levels are not desired.
Treatment
Test the pool water with a suitable test kit to determine chlorine levels. A weekly shock dose is recommended to remove algae and bacteria and prevent any build up of resistant strains. To increase the chlorine level by 1mg/litre (ppm) add 150g shock granules per 100m³. Add shock granules to raise the chlorine level to between 6-10 mg/litre (ppm).
Application
Dissolve the Shock Granules in water in a plastic bucket. Add solution to the pool water near return inlets.

Bromine Test Strips

Description

Simple one-dip test
3-way testing with a single dip. Measure Bromine, pH and Total Alkalinty.
Each tube consists of 50 single use test strips.
Simple dip tests strips into the water and compare the colours on the pad with the chart on the side of the tub.
Test daily when the spa is in use, and twice weekly when it is not.
The following readings should be maintained:

Bromine : 3 - 5 ppm

pH : 7.2 - 7.6

Total Alkalinity : 80 - 120 ppm
